Sometimes I want things to happen a certain way and they don’t. I get upset and frustrated…

My friend Molly saw a movie documentry called African Cats. I like cats. I like big cats and little cats. Molly’s mom Cheryl said they show the prey getting killed in African Cats. I don’t want to see that. My cat Penny gets prey but it’s different. Today she had a big chipmunk in her mouth that daddy tried to get from her. She ran away fast and over the fence into our neybor Jane’s yard. She still had the chipmunk. I watched her play with her prey. She threw it up in the air and jumped on it. Then she ate it all. Just not the tail. She’s a good hunter.

This is what happens to me always. I want to write so many things but I get tired. I know what I’m thinking but I don’t know how to write it. So my mom said to write little bits down. Here are some of my little bits.

When you’re a kid everyone asks you what’s your favorite color. This is a silly question. There are too many colors to choose from. Like it is fighting over green yellow and black. Because I like all of them even other colors. I like black because it’s dark. If you press hard it looks dark and nice and pretty. I press my pencil hard to get that color. I like green because it’s so shiny and my tongue is green right now because I got a green lollipop.
