So let me get this straight. The Tea Party helped bring the GOP back to power by capitalizing on an electorate that was frustrated with the Democrats over their inability to reduce unemployment. Now this same GOP refuses to extend unemployment benefits to those very people who helped put them into a position of power.

I can snark at this because I am comfortably employed, but this is pretty shitty customer service. A drowning man asks for a life preserver and is thrown an anchor and told he’ll get the rest of the boat when he pays off his debt.

It’s just like Sean Hannity says, America is the greatest, bestest, most fabulous, goodest looking, best smelling, most attractive, best selling, smartest, healthiest, strongest, most virile, testicularly gifted, enchanting nation in the history of the world. And god smiles upon us all.
